REV. DR. J. HOWARD EDINGTON
Rev. Dr. J. Howard Edington is an author and former senior minister of the 6,000-member First Presbyterian Church of Orlando. He also served as the senior pastor at Providence Presbyterian Church in Hilton Head, SC, Central Presbyterian Church in New York City, NY, and Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church in Houston, TX.
Dr. Edington served on the Montreat College Board of Trustees from 1991-2003 and as board chair from 1995-2002 before re-joining the board in 2017.
He and his wife, Trisha, now live full-time in Hilton Head, SC. They have two daughters and three grandchildren.
