Researchers: High amounts of TV viewing increase the risk of cognitive disease

Binge watchers beware, a new study released by researchers at the Northern California Institute for Research and Education suggests viewing too much television could increase a viewers risk of developing Alzheimer’s Disease. The study was conducted on a group of three thousand individuals for a period of a quarter of a century, and those who watched a higher amount of television daily (four hours or more,) performed worse on cognitive tests in middle age.

The good news? People may be able to reverse the potential affects on their mind by changing their lifestyle.
