GALLERY: U2 brings their Innocence and Experience tour to Boston

“We love coming to Boston… it’s a city full of Irish people!” Bono yelled, hyping up the TD Garden’s packed arena before playing a long set of U2 classics and new songs from their latest album “Songs of Innocence.” A band once fearing irrelevance, was now standing on stage with the obvious intent to prove they are not a heritage act. Jennifer and I got to see U2’s Saturday night performance, which featured incredible imagery and stories about the bands’ adolescence in Dublin woven in between the songs. Here are some of the pictures I took at the concert; the tour’s stop in Boston wraps up Wednesday July 15th, 2015 – if you’re a fan and able to catch a show, I definitely recommend it!
